Football Football Football coming to an end this year

Football is about to wind down for the year next sunday is the last sunday that Brent will be playing with the Blue Jays. Next year he will be a freshmen and will be playing for the Maroons.
For this being Brents first year of ball hes done amazing. Ive been pulled aside many atime by the coaches telling me that Brent has a gift and that he needs to follow through with it. After our car accident in '99 and Brent having 2 broken femurs I had been so scared to ever let him play anything let alone football a few years ago I think from listening to me for all those years Brent didnt want to play anymore.. So this year we decided if he was going to try at highschool he really needed to give this a go ahead and play one year.. And that he has.. Hes been Offensive Tightend, Offensive Tackle, hes played special teams so lets just say hes out on the field a whole heck of alot. I cant wait for freshmen year to start up and see him out there. He is quite the football player.

West Park Bowl and much fun

What a great day of fun Braedy had. He had so much fun with all of his friends and they bowled, had cake and opened presents. Im thinking a toy store has hit the house (lol)
He got so many great toys from a scooter, star wars guys, transformers, batman, books an awsome soccer ball and some cute clothes.
My little guy is sure getting big, its fun to see him have such a special day like this and enjoy himself.. Not only him but me, because most of his friends mommies are my friends and I love them alot

Mari having fun bowling! wow she did awsome!

Me and my little buddy Julia.. what a sweetie she was quite the bowler as well.

My Little Clone Trooper.. lol.. well we caved a little early and gave the boys their birthday presents. Braedy is a full fledge clone trooper with voice changing helmet, clone gun and clone trooper gear.. He is in seventh heaven. He has been running around the house shooting everything in his path. His party is tommorow at the bowling ally with his good friends and thats all he has been talking about.
Wow these are the times that I just will never forget how special things are and how fast my little man is really growing.

Just a little about the boys and how they are

Brent giving me a look at the camera, hes growing into such a great kid. Im so proud of him. Its so hard to believe hes turning 14 soon. Time so flies. Football is ending soon and Wrestling starts up in December, he really is looking forward to that. Before i know it he will be starting highschool next year.

Tired after a hard day of school. Braedy loves preschool and has been excelling at most that he does. Speech class and working with his language has been so hard, but hes slowly coming out of the dyspraxia. There are so many times that I have to do a double take and ask him again what hes saying, for the most part hes been very cooperative and when all else fails he brings me to what hes trying to tell me and shows me what he wants.

Sat. Oct. 18th Nana and PaPa had a little Halloween party at the house and had snacks and chili and other goodies. The kids all went with Papa and GeeGee and Jason to a Haunted thing at the park. They had a really good time. Braedy is still talking about the exorcist and the evil santa claus with blood on him.

Coach David, Braedy and Mari
Soccer Outdoors is finished for 2008. This was Braedys first year for this sport and he absolutely loves it so much that we will be starting indoor soccer in November. The last day was a bit chilly but that didnt stop Braedy from dribbling and making 5 goals. at the end of the game Coach David presented everyone that participated this year with a medal (feels like about 3pds worth of metal) Braedy wore this all day and ended up going to Nanas later in the evening and wore it there as well. Soccer seems to be something that Braedy really got excited about and Im quite sure that he will continue on toward his sports and continue on that path.
Braedy and Mari good friends

Football and Brent

Getting ready for his game in Alton and sharing the cam with Braedy and Doug

Brent has been loving football so much. Their record so far is 1-6 games. For playing football for the first year, this kid is kicking ass and taking names. He looks like hes been playing for years. Hes playing Tightend and Special Teams on defense. He told me the other day that hes definately trying out for Highschool football, and hes excited about it. He sprung it on me the other day that he would like to do school wrestling as well. He really was good at wrestling when he played for the little devils, he was just lacking some experience. It seems as if he really is starting to get the confidence to follow through and try out for things. Im so proud of him.. Its blowing my mind that hes turning 14 next year.. Where oh where has the years went, just yesterday he was my little baby.
